How to build a Computer

Welcome to PCMaker.org
This tutorial will show you how to build a custom computer in an easy step by step process.

How it works

Every part you need is on the navigation menu. Each link briefly explains what the specific computer part does and what to look for. It also has links connecting you to Newegg.com. This is the most extensive website selling computer parts. Each page on navigation menu has a text box with a submit button. Once you select the computer part you want, copy the link, paste it into the text box and then hit submit. This website pulls all the information from the part selected and puts it into the "Your Computer" page while cross checking all other parts you have submitted to make sure they will work together.

You may choose these parts to build your computer

Computer Case
Memory (RAM)
Power Supply
Motherboard
Processor
Internal Memory
Video Card
Internal Hard Drive

Anything else (mouse, keyboard, monitor) you can buy on your own. This website will not cross check these. All of these items have no real specification requirements as they are mostly USB.

If the website determines that one component is not compatible with the others, simply choose another component and it will replace the old one.
